Front 964 caliper mod

Can some one please measure the height of a caliper that has been modified for use on a S/C type strut. I need to know how much of the ears to machine off.

I borrowed this photo from pu911 who just sold the set up that I'm trying to create

Beggars can't be choosy but in a perfect world some one has a pair that were just "professionally" machined and they have access to a surface plate and a height gauge. Could I also get the drill and tap depth please?

You don't need that, just machine square and then the caliper adapter makes up the rest

So I simply remove enough of the ears to create a flat spot big enough for the adapter bracket to sit on?

Thanks

David

Is this the correct part number 930 351 047 00? This looks like a floating rotor design. I don't believe that I need or want floating rotors

930 351 047 00 is a floating left front 32x304mm 930 rotor

You can use it or a same size non floating rotor, w/ either you need a flat hat, if you want floating you need all the other parts for the '78 rotor

note that the 930s went to a 1 piece design w/ integral hat in '80, this rotor cannot be used w/o 930 fenders and hubs
floating

non
