Bad noise from the fan

I just have a bad noise from the rear fan , seems like something is rubbing when the fan rotates but there is not any sign of rubbing on the external ring.
I suppose something wrong with the alternator , what do you think?
I have a vid but think I can't post here.
Thanks

Ivan

also testing for the noise , disconnect the alt.belt and spin the fan by hands and feel for play...

Caro ravenpower- This is the noise I was experiencing before I changed my alternator (the video is from Forum Member 911 Euro)...

and my full writeup: 1986 Alternator replacement- Rumbling noise now gone, hidden bolt on A/C plate

Hope this helps!
