wheel off-set and spacer, depend on the look you going after or the wheel off-set.
my car base on 964 turbo and have 15mm spacer in the rear.

By moving the rear fender oil lines down and shaving the wheel alignment bolts flush with the nuts I was able to fit a set of ultra wide custom 17" Fuchs under OE 930 rear flairs. You have 13.5" of total space available, these wheels measure 13.25" outer bead to outer bead. Using 315/35 tires allowed the sidewalls to just barely extend beyond the bead. It is as tight as I could go and not have any rubbing under any circumstances.

Besides a race car where you expect to replace items from racing. I've always heard that much offset is hard on the wheel bearings. I like the look much better than the current trend with the offset going the other way. However anyone have any experience regarding the load on the wheel bearings?
