remove cruise control servo on 86
I want to take out the servo for checking.
The Bentley manual writes 'remove servo mounting screws', but don't show them on the pictures. Anyone has a drawing/picture where those screws are? Thanks! |

As I remember once you remove the blower fan for the heater they are easy to see and remove. I took mine out when I replaced the bowden cable. It was a pretty easy thing to remove and install. As to the specifics, sorry it was too long ago that I did it. I bet if you search on this site you will find some photos of it.

There is a 8mm bolt on the back side of the servo that mounts to the bracket. Use a 13mm wrench to get back there.

with a nut a the back (#11 on the drawing above), the perspective of putting it back on seems challenging?
I have not looked yet in detail in the car to locate bolt #13 ( I am currently in my week-end residence away from the car), but is that one easier to get at? |

I thought it was very simple. Start the nut with your fingers, tighten with socket. It is a simple task.
