Early parcel shelf rebuild - need some help

Kicking myself for not taking pictures when I disassembled my rear parcel shelf for re-covering. Did some searching but not finding much detail. My question is, what is the order of assembly when covering the large flat panels, and attaching the two large flat panels to the middle piece. These two pics show the top and bottom of the panel, staples are visible from the bottom but not from the top. I'm guessing that the secret is to fit the covering along the straight part that abuts to the center piece, peel it back and staple them together. The leather is now stapled in the middle of the two pieces, then pull the leather over the rest of the panel and glue it in place?

Anyone have any photos of the process or links to threads I might have missed.

I'm guessing something like this? Staple along the straight edge and then fold down the leather...
