This is a common modification for track cars. It's a generic trailer light wired via a relay to the oil pressure light. Just happens to fit the clock opening.

I'm building a new motor with a modern ECU that can trigger the light for multiple conditions, maybe even flash patterns to indicate the severity.

Clock is of little use so it doesn't need to be front and center. Mine works and I want to keep it so put it in the console.

Important gauges go where the clock was. ;)
