G50 Shift knob - need picture of where allen key is

I had the shift knob redone in leather and they covered up the allen hole but I don't remember where it's located in relation to which direction based on the shape of the knob.

Does anyone have a link or picture handy they can show me? Thank you!!!

I don't recall mine having an allen key. I think the shift pattern plastic plug pops off revealing the nut as shown in the previous pic.

Yeah thanks for the info... I was thinking there was one on the outside... Guessing I need to uncap the shift pattern button and take a look. I couldn't remember how it tightens...

Its not a nut. The knob is fastened to the shift lever with a medium length 8mm size socket head screw that is 45mm long. You can get one at your local hardware store no problem. M8x45 is pretty common.

Gently pry the shift pattern plastic cap off. Go around the perimeter a few times, prying a little bit at a time. It's easy to break a tab if you jam the thing up in one shot.
