LED Headlamps - who is running them?
I hate the look of these on a classic 911. The headlights on my Slantnose are hidden and the factory lights suck.
I’m considering a set of these on the Slantnose. What is your experience +/- with the LED headlights?

I'm running them on all our daily drivers ... F150 , Subaru Impreza and Nissan Juke , although i'm not sure the reflectors on our headlights are appropriate for LED's !
There was a long post somewhere , can't remember if it was here or Rennlist regarding aftermarket lights.

For those of you with the Audette LED headlights what year 911 do you have them installed in and how is the fit? Was it hard to get them to fit properly?

I put LED bulbs in my 74. Not sure if its a good solution, but I did it to reduce the current going through column switch. Can't comment on how good they work, as I hardly drive in the dark.

I'd like a set for the slant as well, what model or part number would this be?

The Audette and Rennline are plug and play, though use of the right gasket appears to be essential in ensuring the ring seats well in the fender light housing. I love my Audettes - Hugh difference in lighting the road ahead.

My Audette lights did not fit the first time I tried to install them. I got them fastened but they didn’t lay flat. Much later and coinciding with thread about Audette lights not fitting, I connected the city lights.
City lights are not plug and play. I spliced into the running lights. When I reinstalled the Audette headlights they went in easy. They dropped into place without effort. I believe the fitment issues are related to the alignment of the chrome ring and the lens. Neither are round and have to aligned and clocked perfectly. I don't think the gasket is a problem.
