AC line refurb
Is there a reputable shop that can refurbish my 964 AC lines with new rubber hose? Not in a position at the moment to pull the trigger on a new set from Griffith's.

Contact your local hydraulics shop, they can typically do AC hoses as well.

Look to see if there is a local AC specialty shop. We have one in town that I had the AC rubber hoses on my 1896 rebuilt only because they live in an harsh environment and they were coming oof to replace the condenser. The did a great job.
For my 911 I bought the set from Griffiths. I was also upgrading to add two condensers so the hoses are different. The "clocking" of the hoses is important. If you take it to some local shop, make sure they have the fittings pointed to the proper direction to hook back up. There is a little bit of play for a rubber hose, but not much.

I'll echo the above -- do what it takes to get the properly-setup Griffiths replacement hoses so you can do the job once/right.

I vote for hydraulic shop or buy a crimper and do you own. I'm looking into option 2 due to the cost of new lines. I think I could screw up a few fittings learning how to use the tool and still come out ahead of the game.

A/C hoses.
I replaced the entire A/C on our '86 several years ago,
including building new hoses including connectors, but, retained flushed/washed the condensers, and the recently installed (1 year ago )new evaporator. Quite the task when you look at all the details. My suggestion would be to remove the hoses, with the connectors measure/replace. Or, you can make your own. https://nostalgicac.com/oil-flush-refrigerant-switches/ac-pressure-switch/binary-switch-w-r-134a-discharge-port-3-16-port.html ^^^^^ I bought the hose length and connectors from this source. Great people, more than willing to help. It was quite the task for an A/C newbie. It took about two weeks (part time) But well worth the re-work. If needed, I have pics of the work I did. Also, added a Pro-Cooler, but not sure if helped from stock. On a 95f day, I have consistent 44f at the center duct, with the temp setting at the mid point and the fan at the #2 setting, just below max. NO freeze-up. pm me as needed, Best, Gerry
