Suspension rebuild - how long/miles to "settle" before final alignment/cornerweight

I have seen many references to new/refreshed suspension "settling".
New bilstein HDs, 21-27 bars, HD rubber bushings, F/R.

How long does it take???miles/days???

How much will a suspension settle??

Will it do so evenly, or will things settle differently?

I plan to do a rough alignment, (string), then set heights/weights. If i had a rough average, or expected settlement, i could plan for it. If it is small, i might not need to do a realignment/cornerweighting.

I've only done this once before to a non porsche, so this is a whole new ball game.
Thanks,chris

I think a few miles and most of the settling will be done

I always thought a trip down the driveway was enough. Will be curious to know if more than that is needed.

Enough to compress everything a few times , so I trip to the local “rough” cobble road , or through the housing estates with speed bumps was what I was taught .
Back to check after that , then final check after 500 miles so was allways timed to do tyres or mot 500 miles after alignment .
