Open passenger side mirror harness.

^^^^^
Is there a way to replace the harness without removing the door?

Kindly note the "Typical" sloppy body work.
missing door grommets....

Might be the reason for the "Open" wire...........

Thanks in advance,

Best,

Gerry

Hi Gerry!
Any reason you can't just put a pin back on that wire and put it back in the plug? From what I recall when I put my car back together I think it would be a bit difficult to pull that wire with the door on because of all the bends and the way the wire enters the door.

Edit: Or are you saying the wire is broken at the opening missing the grommet?

Edit 2: I went out and looked at my car for a refresher. I think I'd pull the door to replace it. As long as you mark the hinge locations you shouldn't have any issue putting it back on.

I took the door loose on the drivers side of mine, some blankets, jack stands, clamps, wood to prop it up. Didnt remove harness just slid it back and forth to repair pinched wires towards the front of the door.
