Question Question about calipers

How do I know what type of calipers are on my 75 911S? I have seen mention of an A-caliper as well as an S-caliper (might have the letters wrong)

check the spacing between the studs and try and stick a magnet to them. S calipers have a 3.5" spacing and a magnet won't stick to them. M calipers are the same spacing but are iron (the magnet will stick)

Not sure about the A calipers
