Full throttle switch not working...

Checked it with continuity tester and no reading at WOT. Removed it a few weeks ago when it wasn't working, bent the contacts together a bit and it worked. Seems to have failed again. Guess this will go on my PCA $100 certificate shopping list.

I believe the switch bypasses the 02 sensor and shuts off the AC compressor at WOT (is this true)? As a result, I disconnected my 02 sensor and went for a ride. Car ran GREAT. Power seems to come on a bit earlier and builds impressively right into redline. Had me smiling again ...even got pulled over ...and was let off with a warning ! Pays to be friendly to these guys.

Can I damage anything by leaving it unplugged? (Running an Autothority MAF/chip, Europremuffler with stock muffler...for now).

Thanks,
