Beautiful integration of the cup holder, clever design, nicely done! Did you polish the edges of the aluminum yourself, or is that an option from Send Cut Send
Nice choice on the Bambu Labs Carbon printer, I wish. I find Flashforge PLA Natural, not clear, produces a really nice top surface, better than any of the colored PLA. I think the colorant has an effect on the flowability of the plastic. I know pla is mainly for tryouts before moving on the final print in a better material but I like the look and feel when you get a really nice print in pla.

I’m not sure if send cut send offers polishing services. I know they have deburring and tumbling services available but these pieces arrived pretty rough, and it took quite a bit of effort with a hand file and lots of sanding and polishing to get them that shiny.
The initial price of the printer was a bit hard to swallow, given how many very low-cost options are out there currently, but I have been thoroughly impressed with its performance, thus far and highly recommend it

Thanks for sharing the journey Julian. Your skill and dedication are an inspiration!
Yet another Pelican thread that sucked me in and stokes the fire to tackle the imperfections of my car. Looking forward to the next update when the time/space continuum allows. Take care, Roger |

Wow, Julian...you do amazing work! Everything you've done on the car has been taken to the "next level" from simply removing and replacing. Can you come do my car!?
I fell down a major rabbit hole with your dash project (as I'm in the middle of mine - thank you for the suggestion, btw) and the one you linked to. Incredible job by both of you, and thank you for sharing! Hope to see this car in person someday. Cheers, Andrew |

NICE!!! I just added oil pressure and oil temperature sensing to my ECU yesterday. It would be great to get all that data and more into a single display that looks like it belongs in a 911.

I've casually searched for round displays numerous times but not found anything that looked like it would be doable on a consumer level, ie, be easily implemented and configured by the user. Either you found something very impressive, or created something even more impressive on your own!
