Make that two of us... although "owning" is such a harsh word. I prefer to use the terminology "I feed her and make sure she has a warm place to sleep and she hangs out in the garage with me and lets me work on my cars."

Great pic, Doug.

He's always doing something to look ferocious.
Smart not to mess with him, eh?

Bell? Why screw around with little popguns like those? Hell, that AK varient has less punch than my dad's 30-30 winchester...and the 9mm or .45 rifles? If the power is that low, why not buy a handgun? Kind of like some carol doda cars, they look mean, but they don't have much power...actually the best security? One that will easily take out any of the dogs shown? 12 gauge...loaded with the round of your choice. If somebody tries to break into my alarmed garage? 9mm is an option, so is .45, so is .357 & .44 magnum. But probably the one I'd go for first? 12 gauge pump...loaded with alternating rounds of double ought & slug...I hear it can be quite effective..

I think a 9mm small uzi can protect the 911 the best..as you may have to spray thru walls.. by then the 9mm Browning is your back-up.. but I'm no pro................Ron

my point was.... being my apartment is elevated with a perfect view of 3 of my garages......should a "security breach" happen we are fully capable to scare the living crap out of any perp......
personally i can shoot a 5" group with my bolt action .22 from 200ft.
although dogs are EXCELLENT serurity i wouldn't feel right having one live in MY garage

great dog pics by the way........great danes rock

I can understand taking down the guy who's coming at you, but killing a man for stealing your car out of your garage? Wouldn't you get thrown in jail for that?
