For 1980 911 SC.
Already tried Pelican. Part is NLA I think. My mechanic knows of a rebuilder in Florida but due to location it would be a week's turnaround for me (SF bay area). Any ideas for sources of a new or rebuilt unit? Bosch part # 0-280-800-006, Porsche # 931-617-101-00 Thanks for any replies. ![]() Markus |

A buddy of mine had one go out. I advertised for him on rennlist and Pelican. I guy in Georgia pooped up and had a few that he modifies and repairs. The SC had three different models of units, BTW.
SO if you buy a used one, make sure it is model year specific. You also might try Parts Heaven in Hayard CA (Bay Area). They are on the net. The main failure is the grounds.....make sure they are cleaned before install or you will be buying a new unit soon.

Thanks Mike,
I tried Parts Heaven and High Performance House as well but they don't have. Need to make sure that it's a CA unit too. The search goes on. Regards, Markus |
