Fixing tail lamp socket?
I got Spoke's LED rear signal and marker light combos. When I went to install, I discovered that the socket for the marker light (small bulb) seems to be shot. The bulb just spins in the socket instead of turning and locking.
I think the issue is that the spring for the center contact has failed. Any advice on fixing it? Getting the tail lamp housing apart doesn't seem easy.

Hook it through the hole and try pulling the contact.

Drill out the socket and hardwire or use terminals. Reflector isnt needed anymore with Spoke's leds

Ok. I used a dental pick to pull out the contact and that wasn't enough. So I put a bead of solder on the center contact of the pigtail base and that did the trick.
AlKidd, good point on terminals. I'll see how reliable they are as installed and go that route in the future.
