DAS Rollbar Differences

A buddy wants to sell the DAS rollbar out of his Cab but I'm not sure if it will fit in my sunroof SC Coupe.

DAS doesn't give any details on dimensions so does anybody have an idea of what the differences are between the SC/Carrera Cab, Targa/Sunroof Coupe and non-Sunroof Coupe bolt-in rollbars?

From what I recall, DAS cabrio rollbars differ from a coupe and may not fit properly. I run a DAS in my coupe and there's very little clearance between top bar and roof. You might reach out to Colin @ DAS and double check. https://www.dassport.com/contact-us

Good luck!

The height is my primary concern as the Center-to-Center of the mounting holes (and width) appear to be correct. I don't want to pull my seats and man-handle it in to discover it's too tall. I could cut some off of the bottom and TIG it back together (new, longer angle-iron mount with gussets in place of the radius bend at the bottom) but if it's has more than an inch or so to cut I'll have to modify the kickers as well.

Actually, I'm sort of surprised that with over 100 views we don't have a member that knows what the comparative heights on these roll bars are. If somebody has one in their sunroof Coupe and knows the height from the bottom mounting angle to the top bar I could call and have it measured.

Ok, why not make a quick phone call or send an email to DAS who made the roll bar and ask them. They are friendly people and I am sure they will answer your question.

Ask the people who FOR SURE can answer your question.

Cheers

FWIW here's a rough estimate. Note, it's very awkward to measure these with them installed in the car (zero room) and since they're angled.

Measuring each front and rear bar, from center mounting bolts to the top of the hoop.

Front (longest bar) is approx 40"
Rear (shortest bar) is approx 27"

Hope this helps!

That's what I needed. Thank you so much for taking the trouble to measure that. (Edit) My buddy says his is over 43" from the center of the bolt to the top so it must be for a Cabriolet. I will probably buy it and cut it down as he's only asking $250 for it and I can drop by and pick it up.
