Electronics Help (CDI) 3 Pin
Hello,
I built a simple DIY CDI a while back and after doing some research I saw even the early BOSCH 3 pin CDI is much much more complex. I considered making a BOSCH 3 pin as it's proven and the added complication has to have significant advantages. After studying it a bit as far as I can tell the trigger circuit would not have enough current flow to switch on an SCR capable of handling the current of a strong CDI. I am specifically interested in the trigger circuit of the bosch CDI as I am happy with my power supply. Any help or insight is greatly appreciated. Thanks, Jon ![]() Last edited by millerjon101; 05-02-2022 at 01:22 PM.. |
