FS premuffler update
Sorry to bringing back an old subject but thought I'd pass on my experience with the Fabspeed pre-muffler fit issue. Others on the bbs had some cust. service issues with Joe F. so I thought I'd pass on a good one.
I had one of the now famous pre-mufflers. After reading some PP posts and finding out that others had the same issue, I sent Joe and e-mail asking if he could rework mine and send it back to me. He promptly sent me a response stating that the flange issue was resolved and just ship the part back to him and he'd send me another. I sent him my part and received a new one back right away. I put it on last week and it looks like the fit issue has be corrected. Now I wish I had a Danske from Pelican but didn't know about them when I bought this one. Anyone want to trade a Fabspeed for a Danske? ![]()

Funny how some vendors/manufacturers ignore customer complaints until the customer(s) takes action. Sorry, but one good case, does not erase the poor handling of previous issues, esp. since the response was on the lines of "~I'll fix it when I have time~". We have a history of poor customer service here, and it will be sometime before some of us will be looking for help from some manufacturers.
Customers like instant solutions. I don't care if you are PCNA or RUF, we "customers" keep the 911 parts industry afloat, and there should be no excuse to handle one customer differently from others. If you are in the service industry, provide ! SERVICE! In my line of work, I have black listed many vendors, because of the same attitude. If I treated my "small" clients like that, I'd be looking for a new job. But! I get great service from the ones that I visit regularly. Word must be getting out ![]() OK..of the soap box now. |
