Do I really need this bumper support?

So, I took off the front end and all 4 wheels to pressure wash and remove an after market, crappy front valance and have an original SC front valance (waiting on paint) going back in it's place.

Do I really need this bumper support that's on the right side of the front bumper assembly? I have the trombone style oil cooler and it's supported by other brackets, is this for a radiator style cooler? For the life of me I can't remember it being attached to anything other that the impact bar. I did the disassembly over a month ago.

Thanks,

Protection for the front cooler. Not really needed.

Thank you, for a second I thought I had lost my mind, I'll certainly hang on to it for future use if needed.

Gone

I removed mine earlier this year when I replaced my bumper shocks with crush tubes.

Asked the same question if the support bracket was needed - same reply you are getting: nope.

Mine went into the trash - I already have a large collection / 2 huge bins of OEM parts that didn't make sense to reinstall...
