Strange low beam problem

New to me 74 911 euro.
Right headlight bulb was burned so I replaced and all works fine but it doesn’t.
High and lows on both sides work perfect when the ignition key is in on position engine off.
If I turn the engine on, both high beams work fine but right low doesn’t.

Not sure what to look for next.
I would greatly appreciate any guidance.

Thank you

Kava... I had wonky problems with my '80 headlights & turn signals. While your 911 is different year than mine, I suspect the wiring format is similar---fuses, light switch, and switch in the turn signal stalk for high/low beams and left/right turn sigs. My issue was traced to a combination of fuse connections that were not making good connections and the switch inside my turn signal that controls low/high beams had worn out. (Head light switch was tested first and proved working correctly.) I cleaned every connection at the fuse panel. Replaced the worn out turn signal stalk. Replaced both headlights for the sake of doing so---reflector coating on one was worn out. And added an aftermarket relay that serves both headlights. No more wonky lights.

Discseven speaks with clarity and wisdom as usual. Google JWEST … they make a nice/affordable/easy headlight relay kit. Maybe even Pelican sells it?

Wow, all these guys are on the money!

First clean all the fuses contacts. Contact cleaner helps but corrosion (there is a proper word when two dissimilar metal contact each other) gets on the fuses and 'gremlins" occur. Each one of the fuses and the contacts on the fuse panel box must be cleaned by light sanding. Then the pins on the round relays in the front sand a little and spray contact cleaner in both areas. It looks like a ground/contact issue to me. I hope you don't have to deal with the turn signal stack. Please report back your findings!
