Reinstalling Smog - vacuum help

I’m installing the smog hardware on a early SC.

Can anyone tell me where the the vacuum line for this valve goes to? I believe this valve prevents any exhaust fumes from entering the engine bay.

Try this old link where experts chimed in. I too hope to find source of vac leak on these old lines, fixed one and now idle dropped !
