Keep your pants on! but yeah, ****s going down. You'll get a taste if you attend Ruchlos Rallye III, but nothing can prepare you for Rennsport.

Oh….I like that, Luftgekühlter Müllvolk = ‘Air Cooled Trash’ ! Nice
Sign me up for the next free parking lot event.

we can a make a club out of it , and issue member numbers , and pay $1.00 to each person to show up and collect their membership number . Thanking all for joining the group of people that like to gather in parking lots and admire other peoples Porsches and stuff .

Sorry, Ian. I’m assuming that by the ‘team’ listing in your signature block that you are already a member of an existing ‘exclusive’ club. So you are by default not invited. I hope that the irony of this escapes you.

I have been to all the Lufts in SoCal with the exception of the first. Even though it was a repeat location, I thought it was a great event. I will say it seemed like there were fewer early cars and more 964/993 cars than in the past. Also, most of the early cars, including mine, were parked in a narrow space behind the main building - talking to some people, they didn't even make it back there or realize there were cars back there! I thought some of the nicest cars were back in that area. My car had a beautiful chain link fence as background Seeing the comments in this thread of build vs buy -- I built mine, here is the thread as proof: https://rennlist.com/forums/911-forum/1107367-72-911t-hot-rod-build.html
I was surrounded by high-dollar, gorgeous restorations, though.

My car is the signal yellow in these photos - note the beautiful chain link fence

i thought it was a good event, the cars inside that porsche brought were bonkers. i've never seen that many RS's in one place.

i was told that porsche now owns the whole thing and brought something like 100 cars. i'm certainly curious if that is indeed the case...
