I remove the fuel pump relay. Just remember where you put it.

Just put a set of keys in one of those magnetic box under one of the wheel well and I'll move your car so that people will think that the car is only park there for a short amount of time.

Err, uh...

Ifin you have an alarm, don't disconnect the battery! Any alarm is better than no alarm. Take the coil wire with you as others have suggested. Also, get a club. Even though easily defeated it's a deterent to a thief who doesn't know or doesn't have the correct 'tools' to disable. I also recommend a cover. The more time a thief has to spend at your car, the more time for someone to notice his activities!

Cheers!

My, God! I never knew so many people where as paranoid as me!

On any account, I made it back home and the car was just where I left it. (Although I couldn't remove the coil wire because it seemed to be clampted the sparkplug wires by some do-hickie. I did, however, pull the plug and just let it 'sit' atop the coil as if it was connected).

Are a lot of cars stolen from the airport parking lot?

I would think with all the security camera that are at the airports these days and the security personnel most professional car rhieves would stay away from airport.

Plus don't you have to pay for parking when you leave and that require the little ticket you got when you drove in and if you don't have the little ticket that may arouse additional suspicions.

On my last trip to CA, I left my Carrera at BWI for a week, as I knew it would be a sight for sore eyes when I got back and would be itching for a nice hwy trip home. I brought my cover, ran the locking cable through it, put my truck club on AND (this is most important), I took my parking ticket WITH ME. That way, if anyone steals your car, they will not be able to get out of the lot without the ticket, or they will have to pay an outrageous amount to get out, which will probably stick in someone's mind later on, should you need to track them down. I always bring my ticket with me even for short term parking. Make it tough on the thief.

Wouldn't you have a ticket if you went to steal a Porsche, and had a junker to leave in its place?
