So, here's my #11104 installed. The unsightly seam is front and center. What are the risks associated with a seal that is too long? Ugh.

Going by the last URO seal I installed 6 years ago (did not have the visible seam) and the Porsche seal before that, it should be snug on the window. Not rubber band tight, but it snug enough to stay on the windshield while you are handling it. If it's too loose, I would think it will leak at some point, probably the lower corners.
