Need help identifying connector in engine bay - 1989 3.2

Installing my engine after a full rebuild - took some time because of supply chain issues. There is what looks to be a 3-wire O2 sensor connector by the oil filter. I can't figure out what this is for and my memory fails me. Any ideas?

TIA

Looks like the CIS test connector on a 911SC to measure the Frequency Valve Duty Cycle. But your car should not have that.

isn`t this one for 964 oil level sending unit?
the connector ob OP pic above could be for the 3rd brake light...what are the colors on the showing wires black and green? on of them?

This might explain it. Connector is definitely a 3 wire. Car is an '89 with the third brake light up top on the back window. Perhaps Porsche left the connector for the ET 3rd brake light on that harness after 1987? To confuse people like me?

Nope. It's a coupe with the 3rd brake light high up on the rear window. This car did have a whale tail on it at one time. I'm suspecting Porsche just left the connector in there from the 1987 year with the ET 3rd brake light. If I discover something I'll post here. Thank you all.

It's the connector for the decklid mounted engine light wiring loom.

Awesome. Thank you. Yes that light is missing. Now I know where a new one will plug into.
