Usually fuel pumps make a little noise so when in "Ignition" setting on the key, the pump should be working.

We'll pushing her out of the garage backwards didn't work. Not enough distance and the gearing is to short. Just came to a complete stop.
So I ended up doing what I expected. I have a big winch I used to use on my car trailer, now sold. Bolted it onto the 4 post lift. Then I hooked up my AC/DC converter, recently purchase just for this, and pulled the car into the garage onto the lift. Got the starter out, put it in my vice and sure enough, solenoid ok but the starter has a issue. Waiting for the new starter to arrive on Monday.
