DME - Where does this wire go?
'84 Carerra engine won't start so I peaked under the front seat to see if exchanging the DME relay would do the trick. What I discovered is a loose wire that is attached to the female connector for the DME relay. It wraps around the back and was sitting on the left side (when looking towards the rear of the car). What does this do and where does it go? A picture of a properly hooked up wire would be appreciated.
Thanks.

One of those is used to set a jumper/mode I think i.e. it doesn't go anywhere on some cars. Another connector like that may go to the barometric pressure unit (looks like a bell). (This is from a very poor memory.)

You're right on Chris. He doesn't need to be concerned about it.
It's only a jumper for some markets, e.g. Japan. Good luck Loren Systemsc.com
