Help find part, 85' 911

85' 911, my accelerator cable is held in place by a square bracket, right where the cable come out of the sleeve in the engine bay.
It is wobbly and loose in there, and I assume there's a clip missing and I can't find the name or part number. It has the correct square shaped cable ending but as I said it's not snug. Even diagrams aren't much help.

Doh!!!
It's my cruise control cable.
Anyway, it was set too tight, that and the looseness of the cable meant that I could wiggle the cable housing and it would cause problems with the throttle contact switch and cause surging when hot.
A new way for that to go wrong, plus I never even use cruise control.
Still looking for that part, everyone seems to use small plastic cable straps, saw some interesting pics.

Looking at the Cruise Control Illustration: 907-00 in the 84-86 PET, you appear to have all of the parts at the support bracket.

If you don't have a PET for your car, you can download it from the Porsche Classic Genuine Parts Catalog web page.

It exactly doesn't show that, it also doesn't show the bracket with the square hole that holds the cable

I realize now that the part is there but it’s broken. The clips that should hold it in place have snapped off. The only way to replace it, is to buy the whole cable assembly ($250), so plastic straps it is.

Yep, for just a few cents, but two black zip ties in a crisscross pattern and it is fixed.
