power window relay switch
Read that changing out the power window relay switch could speed up my power windows. But where is the relay switch located and how difficult is it to get to ??
Thanks Joe G |

Not sure what car you have. It would help if you could add it to your profile. I see in another post you mentioned an 88 Cab. If this is what you have, power window relay is located behind dash instruments and is the first one at the far left.
If car is older, like a 3.2 from 86, power window relay is one of the round relays in fuse box. It should be the second one starting from windshield. Check on the plastic cover to confirm. Not sure to understand why changing this relay would help speed up windows. As a relay switch, it is either on (switch closed) or off (switch open).

Look inside your doors see if there’s a little piece of metal in there, either your windows are gunked up and or your return spring pivot is busted.
