where does this wire connect to

I took the seats out to replace the covers. Everything with the seats works. The Automatic climate control does not work. There is this wire but I cant find where it connects to or what it does. I pulled up the automatic climate control box but there is nothing to connect it to. I dont see anything under the seat either.

The wire looks to run along the seat rail and would be just long enough for the automatic control box. Again, nothing in there to connect to. there is no power to the wire and jumping it (crossing it) does nothing.

Thanks,

Chris

Could it be for the seat belt buzzer?

well looks like you have semi automatic control unit --remove the 4 screws which hold the body down and inside should be male connector to plug it in..
no 10 here

i wonder if it is just an option for a full automatic heater wire set up, then?

figured it out.

Put it back together (ignoring the random wire). Checked the fuesbox and one of the relays was loose. I replaced the hood shocks while the seats were being recovered and must have knocked it loose. pushed it back in and everything works as before.

thanks again for your help.. Love this group.

Chris
