A few questions on my 84 Targa, please help

I am close to finishing the engine cleanup so I can put my car back together and I came across several questions today, so I thought I would throw them all in one post.

O2 Sensor - is this the right sensor
The O2 sensor on my car was working (the car easily passed smog just before I pulled the engine), but it is old and nasty so I've replaced it as a part of my engine out project.

I installed a Bosch 0 258 003 918 sensor which I believe is the correct sensor for this car. This one: https://www.pelicanparts.com/cgi-bin/smart/more_info.cgi?pn=928-606-124-00-M14

The old sensor that came out of the car is a Bosch 0 258 003 001.

The new Bosch sensor has a much shorter harness. The old one is on the left and the new one is on the right



Here is the new sensor installed on the engine, is this going to be long enough to reach the connection in the body?



Second Throttle Spring?
I was busy reassembling the intake manifold and installing it on the engine over the past few days. Everything looked good until, after I had installed what I thought was the throttle spring I found this bag with the throttle spring in it:



I don't think I ordered a new throttle spring. See the picture below for the two springs together. Which one is the correct throttle spring? Where did the other spring come from? Does it go somewhere else on the car?



What is this inside the vacuum line?
I noticed this metal thing inside the vacuum line that goes to the body. What is that?



What are these holes?

There is a small hole in the rear engine mount cross bar and a threaded hole in the AC bracket. See the picture below.

Does anyone know what these are for?

Hose, not vacuum, but looks like breather hose 28 with connecting piece 29:

You have plenty of room on the new sensor , the connector is just above it ,

It is a restrictor to limit the vacuum to the oil tank. Without it in place, the engine would stall when the oil fill cap is removed.
