Where to purchase seat belt hardware kit for 1970 911T Coupe

Hello all,

After many months of looking for a set of seatbelts for my 1970 911T coupe, a fellow Pelicanite stepped forward with a nice original non-retractable set. I did not know it would be this difficult to get a hardware kit to install these belts in the car. After hours of looking through PET and Googling for parts, I was disappointed to find that many parts are no longer available. Does anyone know where I can get a complete hardware kit for the front and rear belts or where to piece together a set? SMC does offer a set but they are very different from the original. I'd hate to have to get an aftermarket set of belts from seatbelt planet.

TIA

Seatbelt Planet can rebuild your original set, and use new webbing and clean and refurbish them to look great. I am lucky in that they are just a few miles from my house. I walked in, and it was obvious they were not really set up for walk in customers. I brought them the old worn out set from my 385,000 mile daily driver 1986 El Camino. They rebuilt them in a day and they had to put several notices on the order, do no ship them, customer pickup.

They work like new. They do the seatbelts for Singer and many other companies. They don't have much in the way of the plastic parts for guides and such. Call them up and chat with them.

They are car guys. I had to drive my 85 911 over there as I had the interior on my El Camino stripped out, and it had no seatbelts of course. Several of the employees came out to look at my 911 and they took pictures.

Thank you, Glen.

I tried parts klassik's website but maybe calling them is better. Thanks.
