OEM Floating rotor T-locks don't fit
For my 930 brake upgrade, I'm putting on 78-80 OEM front floating rotors. I got new T-locks from VCI. Now the problem.... The T-locks fit great on one rotor but on the other, the T-locks are too big. Looks like the slots on the factory rotors are not all the same. How can this be?? Where is the quality control at Porsche?
![]() Anyway, I did a search and found a post where someone had the same issue. Sounds like filing down the T-locks is the answer. Do I need to worry about filing too much and getting too much slop? Also, any suggestions on torque for the t-lock nuts? Thanks,

I don't think it is a problem. I had to file the rotors a little also.

Thanks Dean. I should have tried filing before I posted. I filed the flat part of the T-locks. It didn't take much more than taking off the finish before they fit.
