Have to agree, I don't see the logic/benefit to enlarging the throttle body for normal driving conditions, unless we are talking absolute maximum power output at wide open throttle, then I could see the logic i.e.; remove any' and all posible' restrictions to the inlet flow, and if the throttle body is found to be the only remaining bottle neck, then...
