engine bay show off thread

looking for some inspiration

I'm swapping out my cis for pmo's "not going to talk me out of it" on my 76 2.7

looking to tidy things up as much as possible, catch can for the breather off the oil tank, clean up the harness and routing etc.

would really like to see what some of you have done

I drive my 911 in HOT weather on long road trips, so cold AC is a priority, especially since I like my wife to ride with me. When I pulled up to the hotel in the Palm Spring, CA area a few months ago it was 107 outside, and I had 37 degree air blowing all over me.

My reward for getting the AC all ready for Palm Springs.

My engine compartment is not a show piece, as I drive it too much, and I love AC and the wonderful heater system, so I have a AC compressor and the big engine compartment fan. When it is 17 degrees and the car is covered in frost or snow while parked in the lot at a motel, it is really nice to have kick butt heat of the stock 911 Carrera heater.

I dig your setup

Would you mind sharing the details on your ign, fuel filter and catch can

Also is there anything you would have done differently?

Clean and tidy 3.2. Love it! Any close ups to show a bit more detail?

Ignition - 911S distributor with Winterburn CDI

Fuel filter/pressure regulator-
Malpassi filter king filter regulator combo

Catch can- Riva racing seadoo oil catch can
kit
None of these are the cheapest options all were worth the money.

Things I would do differently- get the Malpassi kit with the built-in pressure gauge. I have one mounted separately.

Looks like the seafood catch can already has the appropriate sized inlet for our cars, is that true?

I wish it were more organized, but I'm only on the 4,011th revision of wiring/setup.

Phase 1: RHD ITBs

Phase 2: AT Power with no aircleaners

Phase 3: Current setup with custom air cleaners

can't help with the "tidy up" part, but more power is certainly inspirational.

AZTIM,

Catch cab is close maybe not exact but 1 size hose from tank to can. Your car is a little newer. I would be surprised if 66 and 76 are the same. Nothing else seems to be

The slope is not slippery; in fact it is entirely frictionless.
