Hey guys,
A friend on the board (nogas) needs to order that white plastic part needed for the hand throttle to work in his '74. I thought I could find it but didn't see it in the Pelican catalog. Not really knowing the name of it doesn't help, but it contacts the throttle cable running from the pedal back to the engine. Anyone got the name and part #?? Thanks, Ryan

Call Darren at Pelican. This is what he sent me a while back. I got the part and installed it. The stuff he says about vacation is old. I just copied and pasted his e-mail. Works like a charm....
Hand Throttle Hi Chili, I believe the part number that you are looking for would be 901-424-317-00, The Plastic Hand Throttle Control Lever. Cost would be $17.50 + shipping. Our cheapest mailing would be via priority mail at $4.75. I just sold the last that I had on the shelf to a customer, although we can bring one in from Porsche and usually have it here to ship out a day after you've placed an order on it. I will be gone for the next couple of days and will return on Tuesday, or you can use the part number A-424-317-00 and place an order on line or to call in with. Best regards, -Darren Pelican Parts 888/280-7799 ext. 223 India Red 1974 911 Carrera Coupe Owner

Chili,
Thanks. Who doesn't love Bond, right?! Ok ok, I admit it...I sometimes drive around listening to the Bond soundtrack...don't tell anyone, though. ![]() Actually, my avatar may become 'available' if I can ever figure out how to make one from a pic of my car like I see some of the other guys doing. Know anything about it? Ryan

Hmm, I know it's under FAQ up top, but I don't know how to use a customer one. Maybe somebody else can chime in.
OT. Bond rocks! Had a roomate that was way, way into it. He goes to the convensions and sells stuff. I believe there's one at the Queen Mary in Cali in the next month or two.
