I was able to remove the old antenna without removing the door on my sc.

It was a while ago but I remember pulling the antenna up through the top hole as far as I could and then cutting the mast with a hax saw. This left a small bottom part to wiggle out through the opening between the door and fender.

I placed tape on the door and fender areas to prevent scratches. I may have crushed the bottom of the antenna with pliers to make it fit out the side more
easily.

I'm sure the correct way to do it is to remove the door but I don't trust myself to get the door back on properly.

Set aside 2 hours to do all this and pick a time when you feel calm.

If I can do it anybody can.

Hi,
I've decided to tackle this problem again. I'm not sure how to get the clips removed. I'm able to remove the hinge pin to open the angle more for my hand to fit inside. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured out what is holding the antenna in place. Could anyone tell me how to release the antenna? Someone mentioned circle clips?

Sincerely,
Brent
