And oh, by the way, I almost got seriously busted trying to afix a SCWDP sticker on the glass display cabinet at Brumos Porsche on Atlantic/s Ave in Jacksonville yesterday! It was one of my very last stickers~!~
Lee,
The stickers are "all gone".
That is.... for the rank and file membership. There is however, a secret supply for ultra-covert ops. PM me.

I think I get this now...Lee has taken the "Obi Wan" path. "If you strike me down Vader I will become more powerful than you can imagine!"
After Vader struck him down I don't know that Obi Wan was all that powerful, But man was he annoying!
P.S. Lee, That Brumos thing is hilarious!

AH! Our plan of drawing the ex-leader from the dark shadows has succeeded. Everything is unfolding as forseen. A great battle between two powerful forces is nigh!

Alas, I do miss owning a Porsche.
I don't think you guys fully understand just how hard it is to convince people that I'm a "Porsche guy". They look at the nissan, then look back at me... then back at the car... then shoot me a weird look...

My class mates have noticed I get more excited when I see an old 911 on the road than a 350Z.

What is a guy to do?

The Z is starting to really annoy me. Little things... a rattle here... a squeek in the suspension there... tire feathering... grease marks on the side windows... a very pronounced throw out bearing noise....
I'm not being overly picky... when I pay $34K for a brand new sportscar... I expect so much, you know?

Me and the 350Z boards didn't go over too well either... no sence of humor... people were more interested in tearing into each other or posting pictures of themselves throwing gang signs.
Plus, they didn't seem to like the fact I was one of the only people chanting Porsche superiority over all make of vehicle.

Oh well... the Z can be a fun car, but it will never be a 911.
Nuf said.

Now, I should tell you that I have been buttering up my wife for a Porsche. I have found that if I annoy her enough... she will eventually start nodding her head up and down. Pretty cool trick.

I don't forsee anything like my last 911. But perhaps a budget club racer is in order... and we all know what power plant she must be pushed by.... "3" POINT "0" SC-a-LITRE... FULL, ALUMINUM CASE...

Carry on brothers...

Oh Leader of leaders, you have deigned to show us your Word once again and we are refreshed, having never been downhearted. We have eagerly awaited your return, always and everywhere remaining faithful in the Cause. Blasphemers, infidels surround us, and yet our resolve is unscathed. Unbelievers everywhere, and yet our confidence in victory is whole and complete. Yes, we knew you would be with us again, believing your comforting words during that awful Nissan rumor time.

Now, our fingers poised on various manner of triggers, we ask for a signal. A drop of the glove. A nod of the head. A line in the Personals section of the New York Times. Something. Anything........

When you lay your head on your pillow at night do you hear little voices in your head? It is the sound of the Porsche Gods calling for you to return to the faith.

I dont know how you live with the guilt

Even I feel pitty for your comrads...begging for leadership. Soon they will turn to the true way of Porschedom. Soon they will turn to GRUPPE B.

So the "B" in Gruppe B stands for "Brutally" naive?

Does covert ops show up in a Humvee with US flag or perhaps something unexpected?

Think about it...but don't pull a muscle.

Who the heck is GroppeB?

Lee you magnificent bastard I still have your old P&Cs. We are Nickasil-golding them a la baby shoes and hope soon to come down from the mountain with our new idol.

Also, I believe your lovely and talented wife will need to catch up on these posts and begin to understand The Fellowship of the SCing.

Nothing, NOTHING replaces a Porsche. And an SC? The car that saved the 911? The bulletproof, hard-driving, no-frills, blue-collar, take me with you please Porsche? The one that fits like a glove and serves you like Old Blue, your favorite dog, over years and years?

That'd be the SC my friends. Five years of pure refinement, culminating with the introduction of the Cabriolet.

My how I love to roll in those laurels!

John
