The question is flawed. The getaway car is following the cop car, from a great distance.

Send a message via Yahoo to k9handler
the next figure (12.4) shows that all the calculations really don't matter because of the road surface.

if a stock 959 has a mass 2500lbs, then a 959 at 3/4c has a mass of:

m=m/sqrt(1-v^2/c^2))=3746lbs! How does this affect it's handling? and what is the braking distance from 3/4c?

If the police car has a 2.4, and 17 inch wheels, a cab top and special stealth paint then the answer is ............ 1:37 c at big Willow. Right TS.

Will the perps' car be parted out after the wreck? I'm looking for a kevlar door handle. Please post pics with price and condition.

Good one banjomike! That's why it can never reach c! It keeps getting heavier.

Clearly a flawed question; both cars are 959s, yet the cop car is 1/4c slower than the getaway car
Maybe the getaway car has nitrous. Nitrous must be good for at least 1/4c worth of speed boost.

Thanks for clarifying Tyson. Knew I missed something.

As the 959 gets closer to c it also gets shorter. Kindo of a retro SWB thing, but do they need to add the lead weights to the front bumper and if so, at what speed in relation to c?
