Question Where's the best on-line source for 917 info?

I'll be travelling next week to a company who's CEO has a very early 917. Supposedly it's in an environmentally sealled bubble and cost him 7 figures. I'm trying to brush-up on my knowledge before the trip. Any ideas.

HUGE disapointment! Neither car was there. The 917 030 Sunoco Mark Donahue car was out for photographing. Apparently Sunoco will be issuing a new credit card featuring the car. The 959 was also mia with no explanation. There was a nice 911 TT race car getting prepped along with two Ferrari's, a Jaguar, an original Cobra and a few others. I was so down I couldn't even think about taking any pictures. I was told he took delivery of an Enzo recently, sticker $632k, and then sold it to someone in Europe for twice that. I think I'm in the wrong business.

Was in Ft. Lauderdale and saw the Enzo you may be talking about. Last Monday the Exec jet airport at the Toy Store... They had a yellow Enzo there that everyone was using to burn rubber around the taxi-way.

Asked the boss and he said that it was on loan and ready to ship out to a new owner.

Nice looking but I still like the 250GTO more...

Bill,
Did you see the car at Watkins Glen? Supposedly after Matt Drenedl bough the car he shipped it up there and had Roger Penske come in and drive it. The car and the whole concept are just insane.
However, it's not just the car that interest me but the story. Mark Donahue grew up in the same town I did, Summit NJ, and my mother even dated him in high school. I was 9, but remember the motorcade to the cemetary about 1/2 mile from my house. After the funeral I rode my bike in and there were black and white checkered flowers around the site. The tombstone only says "DONAHUE."
