Cowel squeak after installing Camber Bar - Any Cure?

After a year of delays and hard work I finally got my SC back on the road. Suspension componets re-plated or re-painted, Elephant Racing bushings and turbo tie rods were the sum of the work, along with some miscellaneous detailing. I also removed the remnants of the A/C system and installed a 25 lb. Westco battery. Did my own alignment, too.
Anyway, I had been given a Cambermeister brace a while ago so I modified the mounting brackets per a previous thread, installed the brackets and brace and went for a test ride.
The cowel squeaked so much I thought I was driving a junk wagon! When I removed the brace the squeak disappeared.
Has anyone elso had this problem and what was the cure?
Thanks in advance.

I suspect the problem is the weltmeister strut brace mount. It "clamps" to the top of the strut itself. Problem is the top of the strut has to move with the suspension travel, and battles with the weltmeister all the while. Squeaking seems like a potential outcome, sometimes they break.

I've vented on this before, the product is very poorly designed without an understanding of how the 911 suspension works.

Solution is to cut out the center of the weltmeister so it doesn't contact the strut at all.

Of course an even better solution would be to get an Elephant Racing triangulated brace and toss the weltmeister

Well Chuck, you were right (kind of).
I had already modified the brackets to clear the strut. The right bracket was contacting the washer on top of the strut grommet. Removed the bracket and the annoying squeak diappeared.
I think a triangulated brace is the way to go.
