A very lumpy idle today going to work

Hey Guy's,
I was wonderin gif you had any helpful hints as for areas for me to look at.
The car started up and ran all the way to work like a champ today .. even off the exit ramp idled fine,, them as I pulled into the work lot, it started to hunt bigtime and on the low side of teh hunting or lumpy idle the alternator light would flicker. then it would go away as the idle rose up again the back on as it dipped down low. and then it died!!!!.. so I started it back up and it idled fine again.. steady..
what the Fu** gives! any ideas

I hope she makes it back home.....
Eric

I had a similar problem yesterday. Started the car, idle hunted up and down, alternator flickered, and the engine almost died. Then it steadied itself, and I went on to work. In the afternoon, idle hunted and the oil pressure seemed high. After driving 20 miles, I filled up with premium gas, and no problem this morning. I am hoping it was just a little moisture in the fuel tank. Is your fuel tank full?
