how about some tranny questions

I'm thinking of going 3.6 for my engine upgrade and currently don't have a transmission. Anyone ever examined the possibility of using a 3.6 Euro vario engine with a stock 97 993 6 speed transmision or is this not possible (within the realm of the average porsche guys budget).

I suppose if you're going to go that far you may aswell just put the coilovers in the back awell right? And if i'm going to do that backs I may aswell do the fronts too, and from what I hear that can get a wee bit pricey if i'm not mistaken.

I'm just starting to put my dream car backtogether and looking for some opinions.

Adam

It can probably be done, but you'll need coilovers in the back and rear firewall cut/reworked to begin with...

the tranny into the 78 will be the tough part, you will need the pedal cluster as well to make it work along with some mods in the rear seat area/tunnel. Get with Harald (Speedster94) and he can tell you more as he is the one who I consulted...thus I still have a 915 tranny.
