Front end squeeks.

Does anyone know how to stop one of the many squeeks I have in my Targa?
I don't recall it ever being so annoying.
It sounds like it's coming from the drivers side.
Shocks?
Very novice, but thought I could count on the board.
Don't wanna take it to shop.
Would love to fix it myself.
Thank you and have a great week!

Have you replaced the suspension bushings recently?

No, I purchased the car in May, had a PPI done but I don't think they checked that.

It could be poly front bushings that are squeaking.

Check this out:

Wow. Heavy stuff. The problem is I don't have a proper shop like that to work with.
I do have some grease though. Maybe I could get away with just lubing it for a while.

thanks for the thread/link!

Yes, its the Misfits logo.

Use Silicon-based grease on the Neatrix and any rubber-type bushings. You can use regular grease on the poly and plastic type bushings.

When I bought my front bushings, I didnt have the tools or the patience to do what Chuck did in that thread. I bought a set of his poly-bronze bushings instead. They are not cheap, but I think they are worth it. The installation is a breeze and they are quality parts.

Im not an expert though, so dont grease anything until you are sure its the bushings.

Good luck.

squeeking front suspension

My car had a loud squeek in the front end. It is a track set up RS Replica. I was going to live with the squeek then I got under the car and disconnected the sway bar and the squeek went away. I dissembled the bushings and lubbed them and the squeek dissapered.
