Start Problem

A new problem just came up, battery is good, turn key and get nothing from the starter. The fuel pump is running, but not even a click from the starter, any suggestions

I really appreciate some help

Please indicate year and model when you are asking a question, makes it a lot easier to troubleshoot.

When you say you get "nothing" - you mean no sound at all, or just a click?

No click: ignition switch fault and\or wiring fault at the ignition switch or starter. Possible dead starter

Click and no start: Starter fault or wiring fault.

Yes, you can remove the starter from MOST 911 with the engine and transmission in the car. you need to get teh car up in the air and use a 10mm hex on the one nut you can get to, and a short 3\8 socket wrench with a LONG 10mm hex socket (preferably a ball tip)

I would jump the starter solenoid with a screw driver to give more info.
and I'm with AFJ on your 911 info.. Put it in a signature......Ron
