Joe, I'm sure Bill is right, now I just want to find out why I have mine set up the way I do. It's time to hit the books.

The lower one has the check valve to retain vacuum for the brakes.
The check valve is that last piece that goes into the mount. ![]() Itried to upload this pic before don't know wh7y it wouldn't go.

Just a quick question. Will that engine pass emission test here in CA? If so how with that exhaust system? I just purchased a 3.6 C2 and really like the B&B headers. How much do they ad to the power?
Nice work!

Pete, Jack Olsen posted dyno results w/ B&B exhaust and a No Bad Days chip here.Dyno Results
The exhaust will not pass smog in CA, unless they don’t know what they are looking at or don’t care. I will need to install a Carrera exhaust to pass the smog visual. Bill, I'm 99% possitive that the way I have it set up is the same as Ingo and Paul. It's worked fine for them but now it bothering me that I don't know everything about why it's the way it is. I've got two days to figure it out or else we'll just have to see.

That should be easy. But I wouldn't say I'm on a roll here.
![]() The biggest problem is the throttle linkage. It would have to be fab’d and is something I might start working on in a couple months. As far the SC CC itself, the only thing it needs to make it work is vacuum (T’d off of the brake booster line) and a way to hook the cable up to the throttle itself. It’s really completely independent of the engine other than that. I would like to get mine hooked up too Mike. My foot likes the floor too much not to.

Mike,
Give me a break! You know only two throttle settings everytime I have ridden with you, either full on and idle. Cruise is something that you have forgotten many years ago! Joe

Origuinally I wanted the cruise to work also. Never got it to work though.
Right now I would be ecstatic to get the diagostic port setup. Moses has one so I know it can be done and is likely easy but darned if I can see how to do it.

Bill,
Ingo sure knows the innards of this conversion and the DME and its electronics. Wonder if we could not bribe him to look into getting everything working. A case of good German beer perhaps??? ![]() Joe
