I think the reason the A/C is marginal on a Porsche is due to the location and orientation of the condenser(s) resulting in a lack of sufficient air flow. An oil cooler in the same location would suffer the same inefficiencies.

Yes you can. I would still rubber mount the cooler up and out of harm’s way. You can use two A/C fans, one from each fender well to pump the air. You can also duct the air from the bumper to the fan intake to add ram air effect.

All oil coolers should have enough loop in the oil hoses to allow for damage in an incident.
