Started my bumper upgrade project...

Well ....started the bumper upgrade project (front and rear from BW).

Staring to take apart the front bumper...removing AC condenser (AC removed awhile back)

Can anyone give me a rough idea how long it took to prep (remove everything required) the car for the front bumper and fit the new one (less paint). I also plan on putting in a Mocal front oil cooler later on.

Just curious.

Thanks

Andy

Andy, it took me about 2 hrs to remove front bumper, & assorted bits & pieces. I marked the wires to the parking lights & turn signals, for an easier assembly. Clamping the new bumper in place to drill the new holes in the bumper makes the job easier. Check the past posts for some good info. & pictures. Good luck Craig

Craig,

Thanks for the info.

Couple of questions:

- didyou install a front cooler, if so what make?
- did you use a nerf bar between the two bumper shocks?

Thanks again.

They are the BW Motorsports Ruf front and rear, from the group buy. The front has the brake ducts. I also have the Aero mirrors to install. Its a black SC with factory spoiler (which will be replaced) and tail (tea tray).

Should look good. I am pretty impressed with the quality of the bumpers. I plan to do the complete install and have full car painted in spring (after a cold Canadian winter).

Andy, I installed a mocal cooler, with 16an lines. I also installed the nerf bar from BW. I ran the cooler lines under the car. the lines would not fit under the nerf bar. I posted some pix on the ultimate RUF thread. Craig
